Nicolas Bornozis

Mr. Nicolas Bornozis is the Founder, President and CEO of Capital Link, Inc. an international investor relations and strategic advisory group, since 1995.

Capital Link assists listed companies and capital markets related organizations to develop and maintain access to European and North American investors and financiers.

With offices in New York, London and Athens, Capital Link is a leader in investor relations for U.S. Closed-End Funds, listed shipping companies, ETFs and international companies accessing the U.S. and European markets.

Capital Link is also known for the organization of top-level investment and industry forums in 10 countries in Europe, the United States and Asia –Capital Link holds about 18 forums annually focusing on the areas of its strategic concentration.

Among those, the “Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum” held in New York is celebrating this year its 25th Anniversary. It is the longest running and most recognizable investment forum about Greece held outside of Greece. Furthermore, Capital Link’s Shipping Forums raise the profile of Greek Shipping to a wider investor, finance and industry audience around the world.

Capital Link’s Maritime Forums are hosted annually in 10 countries, which are key industry centers (Athens, Hamburg, London, Limassol, Oslo, New York, Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong). 

Mr. Bornozis also established and managed, Alexander Capital, L.P, a US broker-dealer firm, that developed brokerage and investment banking business with Greek, Egyptian and Russian markets in North America. This company was sold at the end of 2003 to a group of US investors. Between 1998 and 2002,
Mr. Bornozis also established and managed Alexander Asset Management, Inc. which handled portfolios invested in the Greek and European equity markets.

Prior to Capital Link, Mr. Bornozis served as President and CEO of CCF International Finance Corp. (CCF IFC), (1988-1995) the US broker/dealer subsidiary of Credit Commercial de France (now part of HSBC), which promoted European equities and fixed income securities to US investors.
He also worked at the International Department of Bankers Trust Company in New York (1982-1984) and then at the Commercial Banking operation of CCF in New York (1985-1987) focusing on the financing of Wall Street firms and shipping. 

Mr. Bornozis holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (1982) and a Law Degree with a specialization in commercial and corporate law from the University of Athens (1979) in Greece, he is also a graduate of Athens College in Greece.

For a period of twelve years, Mr. Bornozis was a Visiting Lecturer on International Banking and Finance at the City University Business School (Department for Shipping Trade and Finance) in London, United Kingdom.

He has furthermore served as Chairman of the Investment Management Committee of the Harvard Business School Club in New York and was a member of the Advisory Board of Atlantic Bank in New York, a New York Community Bank.

He has received awards and distinctions from organizations such as the Propeller Club of Piraeus, Lloyds List Greek Shipping Awards, the American Hellenic Institute, Finance Monthly CEO, Wealth & Finance Magazine, InterContinental Finance Magazine.

Mr. Bornozis other than the Hellenic American Bankers Association (HABA), has been also honored by the Propeller Club of Piraeus, Lloyds List Greek Shipping Awards, American Hellenic Institute, Finance Monthly CEO, Wealth & Finance Magazine, & InterContinental Finance Magazine.
