This ranking evaluates maritime cities based on five key pillars: Shipping Centers, Maritime Finance and Law, Maritime Technology, Ports and Logistics, and Attractiveness and Competitiveness.
Developed through a collaboration between classification society DNV and Menon Economics, the LMC report provides fresh insights into the cities that implement the most effective policies, initiatives, and support systems. These cities stand out for their strong infrastructure—both physical and institutional—as well as their highly skilled talent pool, creating an environment where maritime businesses and professionals can thrive.
