Will Homan-Russell is the Chief Investment Officer of WMC Capital Ltd, a fund management company based in London; in November 2018 he cofounded its flagship fund the Albemarle Shipping Fund, a long / short equity and commodity hedge fund investing in the shipping sector. From 2003 to 2018 he worked for Tufton Oceanic Limited, a fund management company specialising in the shipping and energy sectors; from 2006 onwards he oversaw shipping investments in Tufton’s Oceanic Hedge Fund, latterly as Head of Shipping for the group. Mr. Homan-Russell has served as a board member of SFL Corporation Ltd. since July 2022 and as a board member of Avance Gas Holding Ltd since December 2023. He holds an MA in Mathematics from Oxford University and an MSc. in Finance from London Business School.
