Thenia Panagopoulou joined Saplegal – A.S. Papadimitriou & Partners Law Firm as a partner in 2007, following a long career as internal legal counsel of prominent corporations in the financial sector.
She is recognized as an expert in M&A and Banking practice areas. Her experience includes all manner of private share and business acquisitions / disposals, private equity, group reorganizations, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
She also has extensive experience in financing transactions, ranging from traditional financings to highly leveraged and complex transactions, as well as in corporate and debt restructuring and NPE sales.
Thenia is known for her very commercial and deal oriented approach.
She is a Supreme Court Advocate and holds degrees from University of Athens (LL.B, LL.M., Company Law) and UCL, University of London (LL.M., Corporate & Commercial Law).
