Mr. Stephan Vetter is a Vice President in the Mobility Department at KfW IPEX-Bank. In 2017 he started to work for KfW IPEX-Bank and in 2022, he took over the leading role for maritime loan origination & structuring in Asia, located in Singapore. Mr. Vetter has structured the first maritime Green Loans for the bank and is a member of the bank’s Green shipping think tank. He is the bank’s expert on sustainable ship recycling and KfW IPEX-Bank`s representative in the Responsible Ship Recycling Standards (RSRS) initiative. He started his career in Corporate Finance & Coverage at Deutsche Bank in 2010 and joined their ship finance team in 2012.
Mr. Vetter has been a frequent presenter at maritime conferences and webinars on topics. He has regular exchange with maritime start ups. Mr. Vetter graduated in business administration at the University of Bayreuth with a final thesis on alternatives in ship finance. During his studies he completed semesters in Singapore and London.
