Mr. Ueda started his carrier at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 1996 in Nagasaki Shipyard for Ship’s design, and he worked for many LNGC projects designing of LNG cargo handling systems. After that he left Japan for two years being involved in the construction of drillship and FPSO in Brazilian shipyard. Then he returned to Japan in 2016, and now working in Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for marine engineering business to support “LNG as Fuel” businesses and GHG reduction engineering including alternative fuels and carbon capture on board. Mr. Ueda holds a master of engineering from the University of Tokyo, and an alumni from the Harvard Business School.
