Samantha Xu is Chief Financial Officer of BW LPG, the world’s leading liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) shipping company. She has over 20 years of experience across the maritime, offshore, and infrastructure sectors, with broad corporate finance expertise gained in listed companies and international operations. At BW LPG, Samantha leads the global finance function and steers strategy and capital allocation to drive long-term, sustainable growth. Before BW LPG, she was responsible for finance stewardship of Asia and the Middle East at Vopak, focusing on business and portfolio development across 19 terminals. Earlier in her career, she held key finance roles at J. Lauritzen, Odfjell, and A.P. Moller–Maersk.
She brings board-level experience and is an Accredited Senior Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors, and a graduate of INSEAD’s International Directors Programme and Global Executive MBA.
