Penelope Lazaridou

Mrs. Lazaridou holds a BSc in Economics and Business from Athens
University and an M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Strathclyde –
UK.
Ms. Lazaridou has more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector,
holding the position of General Manager in Corporate & Investment
Banking in Piraeus Bank for more than 10 years. – Mrs. Lazaridou has also
served successfully as Chairman of BoDs to Bank’s several subsidiaries, as
well as an executive member in Bank’s Senior Committees. Through this
role, she commanded a deep knowledge of the country’s infrastructure
and energy sectors, contributing strongly to their rapid growth.
In 2017, Mrs. Lazaridou joined GEK TERNA Group, assuming the position
of General Financial Manager mandated to form the group’s financial
strategy and liability management.
Mrs. Lazaridou has also been appointed Executive BoD Director & BoD
Member of GEK TERNA (listed in ASE).
She actively participates in the international network initiative “Women
on Board” at Harvard Business School.
