Mr. Pantelis Eleftherios (Lou) Kollakis

Born in 1948 and schooled in the UK, prior to graduating from City University in the late 1960s, Mr Kollakis worked in the family business.
At the helm of the family’s shipping operations, Mr Kollakis has also been Chairman and Director in many companies, including well known Marine P+I Insurance companies, Property and Leisure companies.
As a young man, Mr Kollakis enjoyed playing backgammon and poker with the world’s best professionals in international tournaments.
A recipient of the Golden Cross of the Order of the Phoenix, from the President of the Hellenic Republic for his philanthropic work, the family continues their charitable work to this day.
Married to Diane Kollakis he is the proud father of 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
Shipping has been his passion and hobby for the last 60 years.
