Mr. Panos Theodossopoulos is currently serving as the CEO at Metis, a pioneering company specializing in advanced digital solutions tailored for the maritime industry. With over a decade of dedicated involvement in maritime digitalization, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of both technical intricacies and commercial imperatives within the sector. In 2015, Panos Theodossopoulos co-founded a successful maritime tech start-up, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to driving innovation in the industry. Following this endeavor, he assumed the role of Chief Digital Officer at Oceanking, a prominent marine technical and commercial group. In his 25+ years of management experience, Panos has held pivotal leadership roles encompassing Sales, Business Development, Services, and Marketing in the ICT domain, in Greek and multinational companies. Prior to his current position, he contributed significantly as Director of Public Sector Sales and Director of Technology at Microsoft Hellas for a tenure of eight years. Additionally, he has excelled as the General Manager of Cloud Solutions at SingularLogic. Finally, Panos Theodossopoulos holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, Boston.
