Panagiotis (Takis) Theodorikakos is the Minister of Development and Investments of the Hellenic Republic. He has held central roles in the Greek government, previously serving as Minister of the Interior and Minister of Public Order. His current portfolio includes investments, trade, industry, research and innovation, with a focus on sustainable economic growth.
He was elected to the Hellenic Parliament with the party of “New Democracy” in 2019 and 2023. Prior to his government positions, he served as Strategic Advisor for the party’s leadership and current Prime Minister.
Minister Theodorikakos holds a PhD in Public Policy from the University of the Peloponnese, an MA in Political Science and Sociology, and a BA in Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His professional background includes a long tenure in political and social research as President and Scientific Director of GPO S.A., along with academic teaching roles in public policy and political science.
He is married and has two children.
