Capt. Nikolaos Chrysomallis graduated in 2002 from Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos. Following a consistent, ten years onboard career on Tanker Vessels in a Greek reputable Company, he joined as DPA & HSQE Manager a newly introduced Tanker Management Company with the aim to also facilitate her new building program consisting of 10 Suezmax Tanker Vessels and 2 VLCCs. In 2018, Capt. Nikolaos joined Tsakos Group, assuming the responsibilities of Deputy HSQ Manager supporting MTA (Maria Tsakos Academy) training scheme as well as instructor for incident investigation and Risk Assessment MTA courses. Holder of Master’s A License, in 2022 he also completed his MBA in Shipping from Alba Graduate Business School. In 2023, he was appointed as Compliance Manager of Tsakos Shipping and Trading, having extensive knowledge, practical and hands on experience in incident & casualty investigations gained from his ashore roles, for more than a decade.
