Born in Thessaloniki, Vasiliki Adamidou studied English Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and subsequently completed her postgraduate studies in International Marketing Management at Queen Mary University of London. She is an internationally certified Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner by the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) and the Chartered Management Institute. She has proudly represented Greece at the United Nations on issues concerning Human and Business Rights, as well as Women’s Empowerment.
Sixteen years ago, she joined the team at Lidl — a moment that defined both her professional and personal journey. Today, she heads the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Department for Greece and Cyprus, collaborating with an exceptional team. Lidl stands out for its strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility, as well as its innovative approach to sustainable development — core values that continue to inspire and guide her work.
