Mr. Vangelis Nomikos, Senior Director – ABN AMRO
Vangelis Nomikos is Senior Director at ABN AMRO, where he has been part of the Shipping Finance team since 2013. He has extensive experience in structuring and originating financing solutions for the Greek market, including term loans, syndicated facilities, export finance structures, and complex asset backed transactions. Vangelis has also undertaken secondments in Amsterdam, gaining exposure to the Risk department and the bank’s dealing room with a focus on Derivatives sales.
In addition to his core responsibilities, he actively contributes to strategic bank-wide initiatives, including Basel IV implementation, risk-weighted assets optimization and sustainability projects. Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Vangelis worked for four years at BNP Paribas in Athens, covering Shipping and Energy sectors, and began his career at Fortis Bank. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Greek CFA Society since 2011.
