Steve is the Director of Finance at Midstar Shipping, an established and trusted owner/operator based in Dubai with a growing fleet of dry bulk vessels.  He is an accomplished finance leader with a strong track record of raising vessel financing facilities from capital providers globally.  Steve has held numerous Executive positions across multiple industries including Shipping, Oil and Gas and the Power Generation sector. Prior to joining Midstar, Steve was Chief Financial Officer at GMS and Lila Global where he helped to grow the owned vessel fleet to over 40 vessels by raising new financing facilities.  He also previously held the role of Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury for a UAE based Oil & Gas construction company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

His expertise spans the full breath of the financial spectrum from debt financing, raising equity on the capital markets through to mergers and acquisitions, treasury and accounting. Steve is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and also holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
