Palaios Panagiotis is an experienced Chief Engineer / Marine Engineer with more than 13 years of experience. He joined Tsakos Shipping and Trading S.A., as cadet, in May 2013 and since then he followed his sea career onboard Tsakos vessels and especially Shuttle Tankers. He has been promoted to Chief Engineer in 2023 complementing his already extensive experience in vessel machinery operation, risk assessment, and crew management. Since May 2025, he has been employed at Tsakos Shipping & Trading S.A. as a Technical Superintendent.
He holds an MSc in Marine Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, UK, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Education Institute of Patras, Greece. After his BSc started his career as Engine Cadet.
