Nikolaos Karavanas is a 2nd Officer at Tsakos Shipping and Trading S.A., currently serving on DP Shuttle Tankers. He joined the Company as Deck Cadet in 2022. He is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia in 2025, where he completed his studies with distinction.
His maritime experience includes a seagoing trip on DP Shuttle Tanker as a 2nd Officer, along with previous cadet experience on both DP shuttle tankers and conventional vessels. He is currently pursuing his DP courses to obtain his Dynamic Positioning Operator license, focusing on advancing his expertise in offshore and tanker operations.
