Dr Michael Silies studied in Münster, Oxford and Göttingen. He has been with MPC Oceanic Group since 2003 in various management positions with a focus on shipping. Dr Silies was appointed CEO of Ahrenkiel Steamship in spring 2015 and also holds this position in the new joint venture Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel Ship Management.
