Knut Ørbeck-Nilssen currently serves as DNV’s Group President and CEO. Prior to this role, he led DNV Maritime, where he was appointed Maritime CEO in August 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he was awarded a First-Class Honour’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 1990.
