Diamantis Pateras is currently serving as Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Contships Management Inc. in Athens, Greece. Since joining the company in 2022, he has progressed through a range of roles spanning across technical, commercial, and financial functions, developing a broad, cross-functional perspective on the organization’s operations. He began his career in the Technical Department, where he was involved in day-to-day vessel operations, as well as dry dock planning and monitoring. In 2023, he worked with the S&P and Chartering team, assisting them in multiple transactions and gaining experience in commercial activities and market dynamics. He subsequently moved into the finance team as an Analyst, focusing on commercial analysis, budgeting and financial reporting. In 2025, he was appointed Deputy CFO, where he contributes to the company’s financial strategy and capital management, supporting its investment initiatives.

In 2025, Diamantis was involved throughout the structuring and execution of a $200,000,000 Senior Unsecured Sustainability-Linked Bond issuance by Contships Logistics Corp., marking the first entry by a private Greek company into the Oslo High Yield Bond market. While working on this transaction, he gained significant exposure to international capital markets and sustainable finance initiatives.

Diamantis holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School in London, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from City, University of London, having graduated with First Class Honours in both degrees.
