Chris Greenwood is Commercial Director for Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore, covering Western Europe and the Americas. Over a maritime career spanning more than 20 years, he has worked across classification, marine services and international shipping markets in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Today, he engages with shipowners, operators, charterers and regulators on the practical challenges of capital projects, technology adoption, and decarbonisation, making him ideally placed to moderate a discussion on whether the ambitions of the IMO are aligning with the commercial and operational realities facing the industry.
