Michael D. Tusiani is the chairman emeritus of the energy consulting and brokerage firm Poten & Partners. He joined Poten in 1973 and served as its chairman and chief executive officer from 1983 to 2016. His career has involved all aspects of oil and gas trading and transportation. Tusiani has written numerous articles and authored or co-authored six books on energy and shipping matters. He received a B.A. from Long Island University and an M.A. in economics from Fordham University.
