Mark Church has been advising on the impact of sanctions on shipping for over 15 years and is the author of Sanctions – A Guide for Owners and Charterers. A qualified shipping lawyer since 2004, Mark is the Head of NorthStandard’s Sanctions Advice team, working closely with members to navigate complex sanction regimes. He also chairs the International Group Sanctions Committee and has contributed to BIMCO drafting committees, including those for key sanctions clauses, such as time charters and the Russian Oil Price Cap. Mark’s expertise has been widely recognised, including at industry awards.
