Marielena Procopiou is the Founder and CEO of Delos Navigation and Akrotiri Tankers, companies providing holistic technical and commercial ship management services across the dry bulk and tanker sectors. Guided by the belief that operational excellence stems from investing in people and the smart use of data, she seeks to balance systems thinking, analytics, and sustainability—along with the tradeoffs they often entail. She earned her MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she simultaneously completed Certificates in Business Analytics and Sustainability. Marielena serves on the Members’ Representative Committee of Britannia P&I Club, the Mediterranean Committee of the China Classification Society (CCS), and the Hellenic National Committee of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). A committed proponent of lifelong education and the open dissemination of knowledge as catalysts for societal progress, she draws her greatest strength from her husband and business partner, Konstantinos Lampsias, and their six-year-old son, Alex.
