Kai Miller is developing commercial products for the Sea Freight Unit of Kuehne + Nagel AG in Hamburg since 2017. Prior to that he was living and working in London, heading up a trading desk at ICAP plc. and advising mainly financial institutions and ship owners in his role as consultant at IHS Markit, now S&P Global. He has been in the shipping industry since 2004, working for ship owners and financial institutions in Copenhagen and Hamburg where he was involved in Ship Finance as well as in commercial and technical vessel management. He started his career in the banking industry 1996 with Dresdner Bank. Mr. Miller is member of the Chatham House (Royal Institute of International Affairs) as well as the Baltic Exchange, London. He was awarded his degree in general economics with distinctions from the Government of Bavaria.
