Joti Rana, is the Head of Governance and Policy for the Americas region at FTSE Russell, responsible for ensuring a clear and transparent benchmark methodology. He supports internal governance working groups, external independent advisory committees and FTSE Russell clients in presenting and addressing index methodology related questions. Joti also engages with global stock exchanges, market regulators and central banks in supporting the FTSE Russell Equity Country Classification process.
Joti joined FTSE in September 1998 as an index analyst. As Assistant Head of Operations, Americas, Joti relocated to the New York office in November 2008 to assist in establishing an Operations hub in USA and transitioned to the Governance and Policy team in July 2010.
