Ioanna Lali has fifteen years of experience in the shipping industry. She Joined Dorian LPG in November 2017 and currently holds the role of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer & Alternate Crew Manager .
Being the link between the Company and human sustainability organizations such as the All Aboard Alliance (an initiative of the Global Maritime Forum), and the Diversity Study Group, along with her attendance at major diversity promotion events (All Aboard Alliance high level meeting in Zurich, 2022, and Diversity@Sea Pilot Vessel panel in Greece, 2023), she actively promotes and supports diversity through Company’s system, staff training, workplace activities and recruitment on board.
She is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos, Greece and has sailing experience on tankers and LPG carriers.
Ms. Lali is a Crew professional with previous experience with manning agents as well as with reputable tanker operators, giving her insight from both sides of the owner and the ship management agent.
