Haris Sitzoglou joined AXIA in January 2020 as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division where, among other areas, he leads the firm’s activities across Energy & Infrastructure.
Since joining AXIA, he has advised Greek corporates as well as global infrastructure and private equity funds in a number of high profile and complex transactions across M&A, Financing and Capital Markets, in sectors like Renewables, Utilities, Logistics, Pharma and FMCG.
Throughout his career, Haris has been involved in origination, structuring and execution of over €100bn equivalent of transactions for family and private equity owned companies, as well as listed corporates across a broad range of sectors including TMT, Healthcare, Business Services, Consumer Retail, Industrials, Power & Utilities.
Prior to AXIA, Haris spent over a decade with Crédit Agricole CIB (CACIB) in London and Paris, most recently as an Executive Director within the Leveraged Finance Group. He worked across sectors and geographies in the EU, including with US and Asian companies before focusing on Southern Europe, in a push to establishing CACIB’s position with clients, particularly in Italy. Prior to CACIB, Haris started his career in an entrepreneurial environment, helping establish a UK based VC-backed scale-up fintech as an investment analyst.
Haris holds a BA in Economics from AUTH, Greece and an MSc in Risk Management and Financial Engineering from Imperial College Business School, London, UK.
