Georgios Papadimitriou

George, started his professional career with Arthur Andersen in 2000 in Financial Risk Advisory practice.

He joined EY in 2002 and was accepted in partnership in 2007.

Currently he leads the Financial Services Industry Sector (FSI), of EY in Central and Southeast Europe and the Advisory practice of EY in Southeast Europe cluster which consists of 10 countries including Greece, Romania, Cyprus and Malta.

He has worked with most Banks and Regulators in the region, focusing on Risk Strategy and Risk Management, Troubled Assets Management and Regulation.

George is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a certified Professional Risk Manager (PRM), a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA).

He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business, has received his Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE) and has followed a number of executive education programs from leading global business schools.
