Erol Sarikaya became a Senior Adviser to Tufton in 2022. He has 17 years of investment banking, investment management and maritime finance experience from previous roles at JPMorgan industrials and transportation group; Siguler Guff, where he invested in Diamond S; Garrison, where he invested together with Tufton in handysize bulkers and separately invested in establishing and served on the Board of Pioneer Marine; and Navig8 in addition other maritime entrepreneurial opportunities along the way. He has a BSc in Finance from Babson College.
