Carl Hagman is President and CEO for NYK Group Europe. He is a maritime lawyer by training and spent his early years with the Swedish Navy as an anti-submarine warfare officer. Since then he has been the CEO of Wallenius Lines in Stockholm, Eukor Car Carriers in Seoul, Hoegh Autoliners in Oslo and for the past 11 years, head of shipping activities in the Stena Group, based out of Gothenburg, Sweden. As most other shipping executives, he is committed to the decarbonization of ocean transportation and creation of resilient global supply chains.
