Martin Tony Chen has served over 18 years in the classification industry spanning from current 3+ years as Area Business Development Director for DNV Maritime HKG and Taiwan. Prior to that, he worked as South East Asia Regional Business Development Director for CCS for over 6 years and 8+ years with class Germanischer Lloyd.
Throughout a career spanning over 30 years in the maritime industry, Mr. Chen’s experiences comprises management and commercial roles throughout Asia (West and East Asia). As Director for Transma and Shipcare Ship Services, was responsible for commercial deals between repair yards worldwide and Greater China Shipowners. As manager for Wallem Ship Investment, was responsible for financial investment of small bulk carriers owned by Wallem.
