Andrew Black is Director of Supply Chain Solutions for Global Spatial Technology Solution (GSTS), a Global Maritime AI company. Andrew oversees the sales, business development and account management function at GSTS.
Previously, Andrew was Executive Director of The PIER, a global centre of excellence for innovation and collaboration in transportation, supply chain and logistics at the Port of Halifax. Over seven years at the Port, Andrew led award-winning initiatives that prioritized collaboration and operational transparency. He was the founding chair of the Canadian Port’s Digitization Working Group.
Andrew has led AI initiatives on cleansing shipping data, scenario modeling and contact tracing, and he has led the creation of an Innovation Framework and Digital Roadmap for the Port of Halifax.
